Poker Suits
A poker deck contains four suits. These are hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades. Each suit contains 2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-J-Q-K-A. (J = Jack, Q = Queen, K = King, and A = Ace.)
Royal Flush
A royal flush is a 10-J-K-Q-A of the same suit.
Straight Flush
A straight flush is 5 consecutive cards of the same suit. It's just like a royal flush, but not Ace high. For instance, 2-3-4-5-6, all diamonds, would be a straight flush.

Four of a Kind
This refers to having the same four cards, one of each suit.
Full House
A full house is 3 of the same rank, and 2 of another.
Flush
A flush is simply 5 cards of the same suit. It's just like a royal flush, but not Ace high. For instance, 2-5-6-8-10, all diamonds, would be a flush.
Straight
A straight 5 consecutive cards of any suit.
Three of a Kind
Three cards of the same rank.
Two Pair
Two pair, same rank.
One Pair
Two cards of the same rank.
High Card
The highest card in your hand.
